LEISURE AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Trips to the local shops and pubs can be arranged for residents at an additional fee.

We actively encourage families to still involve the residents in their family activities outside Collyhurst.

For those who miss “pottering around” in their own gardens, raised flower beds are available in our attractive garden.

Activities that stimulate, amuse and entertain are encouraged.  (eg: armchair aerobics, sing-alongs, bingo, board games, darts and dominoes).  We occasionally invite outside entertainment into Collyhurst (eg: organists, vocalists, and clothes parties).  Friends and relatives are welcomed and encouraged to take part in all of our activities.  These activities are overseen by our dedicated Activity Coordinator.  A visiting clergyman from a local church gives communion to those who wish to participate.
